AKS was commissioned to provide a new 40kL/day Sewage Treatment Plant to service the Jellinbah Mining Village, located on the Tropic of Capricorn near Bluff, in Queensland.
The Class A plant utilises a 2mm inlet screen prior to treatment using the MLE Biological Process featuring Membrane Bioreactors with Chlorine Disinfection.
Housed within a 40’ air-conditioned container, the main plant and control room are easily accessible, with a large inbuilt colour touch screen providing an on-screen visual representation of the plant HMI, showing plant status, critical flows and instrument readings. While the system is pre-programmed to operate at optimum efficiency, full remote monitoring is enabled to provide 24/7 access and control.
Smartly packaged in a 40ft container the plant room also houses the control panel providing effluent water quality monitored using quality instrumentation.
