Twin SBR Package For Westrex Queensland
AKS designed, constructed and commissioned a Twin SBR packaged plants for a Westrew facility near Roma in Queensland. With a treatment flow rate of 250 kL/d per SBR train, providing a combined total flow of 500 kL/d, the plants are feed by a common 300 kL balance with light aeration for mixing.
Aeration in each treatment train is provided by a 9-kW submerged radial aerator mounted at the base of the SBR tank.
Decanting is done through floating decanter assemblies and Southern Cross Starline 4-kW pumps. The treated water is discharged to adjacent spray fields.
Our packaged Elementz design allows factory testing prior to dispatch, enabling the system to be craned in place for faster installation and commissioning.
