Fine Bubble Aeration For Sewage Treatment Plant
AKS were contracted to design, manufacture, install and commission a complete aeration package for the new Bodalla Sewage Treatment Plant, operated by the Eurobodalla Shire Council. Twin IDEA tanks were installed with 316 stainless steel liftable aeration grids fitted with high quality OTT D-Rex fine bubble disc diffusers.
Air was delivered by duty, duty and standby Aerzen GM7L blowers with 11 kW motors. Commissioning included conducting a certified Standard Oxygen Transfer Efficiency (SOTE) testing to confirm the process guarantee values.
