We’ve designed and manufactured a new cutting-edge potable water treatment plant in collaboration with Rio Tinto and Worley. Treating bore water, and with a design flow rate of 35 kL/Day, this plant is fully self-monitoring and built to stringent quality and mining specifications for deployment to a remote mine site in Paraburdoo, Western Australia.
Built to withstand ambient temperatures exceeding 45–50°C, the treatment plant features a heat exchanger-driven cooling module, multi-stage prefiltration, a high-rejection Reverse Osmosis (RO) unit, and a calcite contactor for pH stabilisation. The system also features an advanced PFAS removal system, with a UV and Chlorination disinfection system.
Designed to meet Rio Tinto Mine specifications, both mechanical and electrical, this fully packaged plant was built at our Victorian based manufacturing facility and fully FAT tested prior to delivery to site for installation.
