Aeration Package For Tumbarumba Treatment Plant
AKS were contracted to design, manufacture, install and commission a complete aeration package for the new Tumbarumba Sewage Treatment Plant, in New South Wales.
The IDEA tank was installed with 316 stainless steel liftable aeration grids fitted with 9” disc diffusers with EPDM membranes.
Air was delivered by Duty/ standby Aerzen GM35S blowers with 30 kW motors.
Commissioning included conducting a certified Standard Oxygen Transfer Efficiency (SOTE) testing to confirm the process guarantee values.
Working closely with the head contractor on the site development, AKS delivered the aeration package on time and operating to expectations.
