We were asked to design, manufacture, install and commissioned a new sewage treatment plant for the DoD Camp Kerr, near Rainbow Beach, QLD.
The treatment plant was designed to treat a peak of 120 kL/d of raw sewage. It featured a special extended turn-down function, including dosing of a Carbon, Urea and Phosphorous chemical blend.
The system achieves Class-A treatment, featuring a flat sheet submerged membrane (MBR), a USEPA validated UV and Chlorine residual dosing.
The system also includes was a dedicated chemical storage container with 1,000 L storage tanks and air powered decanting and transfer pumps.
Packaged across four 40ft containers, with a dedicated plant room housing the control panel providing effluent water quality monitoring using advanced instrumentation.
